But before my students ever get to the memory collecting and recording work of the course, we do a lot of mindset work and a fair bit of pre-writing prep work.
And that's what I want to share with you here!
With these 12 writing prompts, I ask my students to get really honest with themselves and do a little detective work about their story and how they feel about it. I ask them to chase down some long-forgotten or maybe totally neglected pieces of their story.
