But we could all use a little help!
So you want to tell your story, but every time you sit down to do it, you just freeze.
I get it!
I tried to write my story for years. I thought that as a writer, I should be able to just sit down to the page and ... write!
But it wasn't that easy.
Taking on the task of telling your story can feel really daunting.
But it doesn't have to be!
Which is why I developed the 4-step writing process of my "Memoir-In-Progress" Course.
But before my students ever get to the memory collecting and recording work of the course, we do a lot of mindset work and a fair bit of pre-writing prep work.
And that's what I want to share with you here!
With these 12 writing prompts, I ask my students to get really honest with themselves and do a little detective work about their story and how they feel about it. I ask them to chase down some long-forgotten or maybe totally neglected pieces of their story.
Does that sound like something you're ready for too?
